To the Editor:

John Hammerand, candidate for County Board District 4, is my husband and partner. We love McHenry County with all its people and natural treasures, and raised our family knowing we shared values and vision.

From his earliest days, he was instilled by his parents with a dedication to his faith and duty to his community. John has given up his personal and business time to ensure that the constituents in District 4 are well represented on the County Board. He is not satisfied unless all the ramifications of the actions being proposed by the McHenry County Board have been hashed out and presented to the citizens for their feedback before his vote.
