To the Editor:

I received a telephone call from State Rep. Jack Franks reminding me that early voting had begun, and he also asked for my vote for the county executive referendum. Incredibly, he left his home phone number in case I had any questions. I called his home and spoke with Jack directly, and he was able to answer my questions.

I am not aware of any official in such a high office to be so accessible to his constituents. I am so impressed with Franks’ courage to tackle the tough issues and to fight for all the citizens of McHenry County.
