Musgrove: Something old, something new in Harvard

Come join us for some old and some new exciting fall events.

First, on Nov. 16 we will be hosting our annual Ladies Night. This special night is dedicated to awareness on health issues that affect women. Mercy Harvard Hospital sponsors this event every year and provides free heath checks throughout the night.

Other chamber members such as Katie Van Digglin with New Balance Shoes of Crystal Lake and a licensed podiatrist will be available for a free foot analysis. Shopping with Avon, Tastefully Simple, Mary-Kay and Thirty-One are just a few of the vendors on site to help you pamper yourself or start your Christmas shopping.

This event will be held at the Heritage Inn & Suites, 1701 S. Division St., Harvard, from 4 to 9 p.m. Cost is $50 per person or $45 with a friend and includes manicures, massages, facials, hair cuts, waxing, food and beverages. Limited spaces are available so you must RSVP by calling 815-943-4404.

Second, we will be hosting our first ever Indoor Golf Outing Scramble at Revolution Golf HD, 77 N. Ayer St., Harvard. This event will run Nov. 26 through Dec. 13. Tee times are 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with one team per day. Games and prizes will be awarded during the wrap-up party on Dec. 13 at Stingerz Bar & Grill, 703 E Diggins St., Harvard, Come check out this new revolutionary way to golf in a brand new facility. Cost is $200 per foursome and limited to 14 teams.

Last, on Nov. 30 we will be having a downtown chamber walk and mixer starting at 5 p.m. Members will start at our new chamber location on 40 N Ayer St. and pick up a postcard with a list of downtown members that are participating. They will then go to each of the businesses and check out what services and products they provide. We will finish the evening at the Starline Building with food, drinks and prizes for those who participated.
