WOODSTOCK – A pole barn was destroyed during an overnight fire, according to the Woodstock Fire Rescue District.

Crews were called to a home in the 5000 block of Dean Street at around 1:45 a.m. for a report of a structure fire, authorities said. Firefighters arrived to find one of several pole barns on the property fully engulfed in flames.

The storage barn contained a motor vehicle and woodworking shop, as well as several lawnmowers, tools and miscellaneous items, all of which were destroyed.
