Lake in the Hills to discuss property tax levy
LAKE IN THE HILLS – The village expects to bring in 1.2 percent less in property tax dollars next year.
The estimated 2012 levy of $5.49 million is 1.2 percent less than last year’s levy of $5.56 million, according to a memo from Finance Director Peter Stefan to Village Board members.
Final tax rates won’t be determined until property values are set in the spring.
