Union man charged in Huntley bomb threat
HUNTLEY – A Union man has been charged with disorderly conduct after he made a fake bomb threat at Huntley High School, police said.
About 2 p.m. Saturday, Derek M. Habbley, 25, made threats to his cellphone service provider that he had a bomb in his backpack, police said. He provided a description of himself and his vehicle.
When officers arrived at the high school parking lot, they spoke with Habbley, who admitted to making the threats, police said.
