Wauconda residents charged with selling cocaine

McHENRY – Two Wauconda residents have been charged in connection with selling cocaine in McHenry.

Rosalba Tejada-Martinez, 42, and Jose A. Dominguez, 44, were arrested after they sold 3 ounces of cocaine to an undercover deputy Friday, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. The purchase took place at Route 120 and Oak Street in McHenry.

Deputies recovered about 90 grams of cocaine, worth about $3,000. Deputies also recovered $538, according to the news release.

Tejada-Martinez and Dominguez were charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Dominguez also was charged with not having a valid driver’s license and was taken in on a warrant for failure to appear for traffic violations in McHenry County.

Tejada-Martinez’s bond is set at $100,000. Dominguez’s bond is set at $105,000.

Both were being held Monday in the McHenry County Jail.
