WHEATON – Jacquelyn Bien and Kevin Hendrix, both of Glendale Heights, were married at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Wheaton. The Rev. Canon Linda Potter officiated.
She is the daughter of Ken and Chris Bien of Harvard. He is the son of Claudia Hendrix of Cicero.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Mon Cheri strapless satin and tulle A-line gown with an empire waist, embellished with beading and embroidery and a cathedral-length train on the Kennedy dress.
She carried a bouquet of circus roses and other fall colors including yellows, oranges, white and purple.
Maid of honor was Jessica Bien of Murphysboro. Matron of honor was Mel Monahan-Bruesch of Sedona, Ariz. Bridesmaids were Amy Hendrix, Sarah Stefan and Allison Scott. Flower girl was Maggie Hayley.
Best men were Saul Rodriguez of Niles and Thurman Hendrix of Glendale Heights. Groomsmen were John Hayley of Chicago and Chris Barker of Palos Heights. Ring bearer was John Viking Hayley.
Nuptial music was provided by Sue Flaatten.
After a reception at the Abbington in Glen Ellyn, the couple took a wedding trip to Hawaii.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Johnsburg High School, a 2008 graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago and a 2012 graduate of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She is a physical therapist at Athletico in Schaumburg.
The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Fenwick High School, a 2000 graduate of Concordia University in River Forest and a 2007 graduate of Midwestern University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He is a physical therapist at Athletico in Berwyn.
They reside in Glendale Heights.
