Nazi survivors honored in Chicago ceremony
CHICAGO – Chicago-area residents who survived the Nazi regime will be honored at a commemoration of Kristallnacht – a night of terror in 1930s Germany and Austria.
The ceremony will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Anshe Emet Synagogue in Chicago.
The event will feature a screening of “REFUGE: Stories of the Selfhelp Home.” The documentary examines Holocaust survivors in Chicago.
