HAMILTON – Announcement has been made of the engagement of Sumer Allensworth of Hamilton and Adam Wallace of Union.

She is the daughter of Kenny Allensworth of Quincy and Elaine Balmer of Camp Point. He is the son of Steven and Deborah Wallace of Union.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Hamilton High School, a 2005 graduate of Western Illinois University in Macomb with a Bachelor of Science and a 2010 graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. She is an obstetrician and gynecologist at the University of Colorado in Denver.
