Dundee-Crown students to honor veterans
CARPENTERSVILLE – Dundee-Crown High School will celebrate Veterans Day on Monday with veterans who served in Vietnam, Iraq or Afghanistan.
The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school, 1500 Kings Road, Carpentersville.
As veterans, students and teachers turn onto Charger Country Drive, they will be greeted with American flags lining the street. When entering the school, the veterans will be met by the drum line and color guard playing and waving American flags.
