Incumbent Hultgren victorious
U.S. Rep. Randy Hultgren, R-Winfield, was elected to a second term Tuesday, holding off Democratic challenger Dennis Anderson.
Unofficial and incomplete 14th Congressional District results showed Hultgren at 115,891 votes and Anderson at 79,709.
Hultgren was first elected in 2010, beating incumbent Democrat Bill Foster.
