McHENRY – A man already facing robbery charges in Wisconsin has been charged in connection with an armed robbery in McHenry late last year, according to the McHenry Police Department.

Robert C. Lynn, 29, formerly of Burlington, Wis., has been charged with armed robbery in McHenry while in custody at the Kenosha County Jail for a similar robbery Aug. 24 in Elkhorn, Wis., according to a news release.

McHenry investigators noticed similarities between the recent Elkhorn robbery and the Illinois State Bank robbery in December 2011, the news release states. Lynn has also been linked to September 2011 bank robbery in Hebron.
