Brooklyn bakers to share story at Opera House
WOODSTOCK – Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito bring the story of “Baked,” their world-famous bakery, to the Woodstock Opera House at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Former cubicle dwellers in the world of advertising, Lewis and Poliafito launched Baked in an abandoned storefront church in Red Hook Brooklyn.
Despite a series of missteps, Baked now is a treasured neighborhood spot as well as an award-winning bakery with a global reputation.
