Salvation Army to kick off kettle campaign

CARPENTERSVILLE – The Greater Elgin Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign Kickoff will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at OTTO Engineering, 100 S. Lincoln Ave.

Entertainment will be provided by the Dundee-Crown High School Chamber Choir and Jazz Band. Refreshments will be served. Volunteer opportunities are available for organizations.

The Greater Elgin Salvation Army serves northern Kane and northwestern Cook counties. Area communities served include East Dundee, Elgin, Barrington, Carpentersville, Gilberts, Hampshire, Huntley, Sleepy Hollow, South Elgin, South Barrington and West Dundee.
