Culver’s of Huntley 
to donate to veterans

HUNTLEY – The Culver’s of Huntley, 13240 Route 47, will donate 11 percent of Sunday’s sales to is a Beloit, Wis.-based nonprofit with a mission of next spring transporting 200 World War II and Korean-era veterans and “Rosie-the-Riveters” to Washington, D.C., at no charge, to see the memorials built in their honor.

Culver’s of Huntley also will feature $1 Red, White and Blue Patriot Sundaes (single scoop) with all proceeds donated back to for the trip from May 19 to 22.

A presentation of colors and a flag retiring ceremony will take place at 3:30 p.m.

Veterans of all eras are invited to line up by 2 p.m. at Deicke Park to join a 2:30 p.m. parade to Culver’s, going south on Route 47 with an escort by local police and fire departments and the Warriors’ Watch Riders. For information on this event, visit
