Diabetes health clinic planned
ALGONQUIN – A Diabetes Health Clinic is set for 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital Outpatient Center, 2284 County Line Road, Algonquin.
The clinic provides a screening for blood glucose level.
Participants should note that screenings such as the finger stick to check blood-glucose level and the A1C level test require fasting for 12 hours beforehand for accurate readings. But take regular medications as prescribed.
