CHICAGO – A Chicago woman has been indicted for allegedly filing false liens on properties of federal prosecutors, judges and agents, claiming each owed her brother $100 billion.

The indictment says Cherron Marie Phillips filed one against the U.S. Attorney in Chicago in 2011. One of the nation's most celebrated federal prosecutors, Patrick Fitzgerald, held the post at the time but has since entered private practice.

The U.S. Attorney's office in Springfield announced the 12-count indictment against Phillips on Friday. Each count carries a 10-year maximum prison term.
