Commuters eligible to win free train rides for a year

CARY – Train commuters could win free train rides for a year as part of an Allstate campaign.

The insurance company will have tents set up at some area train stations, including Cary’s, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday handing out free coffee along with a scratch-off card that can be redeemed for a prize, according to a news release.

Commuters can also fill out a commuter information form, which they drop off at another Allstate tent at the Ogilvie Transportation Center. Ten respondents will win free train rides for a year.

Other participating stations include Central Street in Evanston, Highland Park, Jefferson Park, Mount Prospect, Park Ridge and Union Station. The promotion is part of Allstate’s campaign to raise awareness about its Drivewise program, which tracks driver habits in exchange for discounts.
