Bad intersection

To the Editor:

Why isn’t McHenry County purchasing a portion of the defunct McDonald’s parking lot at Route 31 and Miller Road, and building a right-turn lane for westbound traffic in an attempt to alleviate the congestion at this poorly planned intersection?
