CRYSTAL LAKE – Travelers this Thanksgiving should buckle up or risk a ticket, Crystal Lake police said. The police department will join in the state’s “Click It or Ticket” campaign during the holiday period and will be out in force, according to a news release.
Drivers and passengers must wear seat belts or face a minimum $25 fine. Some exceptions, including taxi passengers, apply.
