Cholesterol screenings offered at senior center
JOHNSBURG – The McHenry County Department of Health will provide cholesterol screenings from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Nov. 28 at the McHenry Township Senior Center, 3519 N. Route 31.
The screening includes total cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, fasting blood glucose, blood pressure and general cholesterol educations.
Participants are required to fast for 12 hours but are encouraged to drink water and adhere to their medication schedule.
