Customers empty shelves at Hostess outlet
Customers were quickly making the shelves bare at Hostess Brands' Dolly Madison Bakery Outlet in Crystal Lake Friday.
The last Twinkie was long gone.
A crowd was at the outlet at 7100 Teckler Blvd. after Hostess Brands announced Friday morning it filed a motion to liquidate Friday with U.S. Bankruptcy Court.The company claimed striking workers across the country crippled its ability to maintain production.
