Higher tax bills in works at D-200
WOODSTOCK – School District 200 is proposing a tax levy that would mean a higher property tax bill for homeowners in the district.
The district is seeking a 2012 levy that would raise the tax rate to 6.833 percent from last year’s 5.851 percent.
In the 2011 tax year, the owner of a home valued at $250,000 paid $4,525 in taxes to District 200.
