CHICAGO – A Crystal Lake man found dead in a Lincoln Park alley Sunday morning appears to have fallen from the upper floors of a building in the area, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak said Monday.

Timothy Gallagher, 21, of the 1000 block of Hawthorne Court, was found on the ground with head and body trauma in the 400 block of West Fullerton Parkway in Chicago, police said. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office pronounced him dead at 5:41 a.m., but is not ruling on the death until police finish their investigation.

An autopsy was conducted Monday.
