LAKEMOOR – Announcement has been made of the engagement of Jennifer Janik and Brian Beuckman, both of Lakemoor.

She is the daughter of Michael and Dorothy Janik of Cary. He is the son of Linda Meyer of Cary and the late Gregory Beuckman.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Cary-Grove High School in Cary, a 2008 graduate of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and a 2012 graduate of Benedictine University in Lisle. She is a third-grade teacher at Big Hollow Elementary School in Ingleside.
