McHenry County home sales climb 40 percent
McHenry County home sales increased nearly 40 percent in October, compared to October 2011.
Meanwhile, the median price of a home decreased 6.3 percent.
According to data released Monday by the Illinois Association of Realtors, McHenry County home sales (including single-family homes and condominiums) totaled 350 in October, up 39.6 percent from 251 homes sold in October 2011.
