Care package items can be left with Spring Grove police

SPRING GROVE – Items for care packages in the McHenry County sheriff’s Operation Support Our Troops program can be dropped off at the Spring Grove Police Department through Dec. 1.

Care packages, each accompanied by a letter, will include items such as razors, lotion, nail clippers, chapstick, eyedrops, nasal spray, batteries, pain relievers, cold medicine, hand or foot warmers, floss, socks, small puzzle books, pocket packs of tissues, body wash and mouthwash.

Donations can be dropped off at the Spring Grove Police Department, 7401 Meyer Road, Spring Grove.

Monetary donations can be sent to OSOT America, 1807 S. Washington St., Suite 110 No. 359, Naperville IL 60565.
