Course graduates receive OSHA 10-hour card

McHENRY – The McHenry County College Workforce Training Program is accepting registrations for OSHA 10-Hour for Construction Industry from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 3 and 5 at the Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry. 

This course is targeted for employers committed to workplace safety and compliance. The 10-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program is intended to provide an entry-level construction worker with general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site.

Facilitated by Debra Addante, president of Innovative Risk Management LLC, this class covers training required by OSHA, including topics pertaining to regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1926. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of attendance and OSHA 10-hour card.
