Seminar focuses on reducing wasted time

McHENRY – The McHenry County College Workforce Training Program's seminar Time Challenged aims to inspire people to turn time wasters into opportunities for increased productivity. The four-hour seminar will take place from 8 a.m. to noon on Dec. 5 at the McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry.

Time Challenged is facilitated by Sheri Bland of Sheri Bland Solutions. She is a trainer, strategic planner and coach with a master's degree in social work. She will teach people how to reduce wasted time, improve productivity overall and strike a work/life balance. Participants will learn about effective time management, which involves making an ongoing commitment to review their actions and improve them day by day.  

Cost is $99. Use course ID: NTL S09 002 when registering. All leadership and workforce development courses are also available to bring to a company's facility and customizable for their needs.
