Flight attendant arrested over gun at O'Hare
CHICAGO – An American Airlines flight attendant has been arrested at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport after security screeners discovered a gun in her carry-on luggage.
Airline spokeswoman Mary Frances Fagan confirmed the woman is a flight attendant for American, but would not comment further.
Chicago Police Department spokesman Veejay Zala said the 65-year-old woman was arrested Friday morning after screeners with the Transportation Security Administration discovered the gun in an X-ray machine during routine screening.
