SHARE-Loaves and Fishes offers holiday meal packages
McHENRY – Area residents can celebrate the holidays and stay on budget with the SHARE-Loaves and Fishes McHenry County Food Buying Club.
This nonprofit, volunteer-run organization helps families save 25 to 45 percent on supermarket-quality food throughout the year, and the holidays are no exception.
For $32, the club’s Christmas Dinner Package contains all the fixings to prepare a festive spread for a family of six. This year’s packages include a ham, sweet potatoes and all the fixings, including dessert.
