Carrier like Santa
To the Editor:
Gary Simons, our Northwest Herald carrier, is retiring. He’s like Santa Claus; we never see him, never hear him, and don’t even know what he looks like, but magically, every morning, that newspaper is there.
Wait, he’s even better than Santa Claus because Santa delivers only once a year! As long as we’ve lived here, Gary has never missed even one day. We wish him all the best. He’s certainly earned it.
