To the Editor:

I was very disappointed by the tone and tenor of the comments online regarding the Dalton family in the story of their son coming home. I have known the Daltons for a long time, and their family personifies not only true family values, but the commitment to building a better community around them through service to others.

The fact that their son, Conor, could not only feel comfortable in coming home to get back on more solid footing, but to also be welcomed by Bob and Trish, should be celebrated, not criticized for petty political reasons.
