HEBRON – Class have been canceled today at Alden-Hebron School District 19 due to a village boil order and water problems at the elementary school.

All extracurricular activities are still scheduled, and all certified and district staff are working today, according to the district’s website.

Officials made the decision to cancel classes Monday at the district’s three schools after a water leak was discovered at the elementary school over the weekend, Superintendent Debbie Ehlenburg said. The village is also under a boil order.
