McHENRY – Announcement has been made of the engagement of Dana Collins and Jimmy Clingingsmith, both of McHenry.
She is the daughter of Larry and Leslie Collins of McHenry. He is the son of Jim and Chris Clingingsmith of McHenry.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of McHenry West High School and a 2010 graduate of Judson University in Elgin with a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education. She attends Concordia University in River Forest, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction.
She is an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher at Hilltop Elementary School in McHenry.
Her fiancé is a 2007 graduate of McHenry West High School and a 2012 graduate of McHenry County College with a Firefighter II certification. He attends McHenry County College to pursue an Emergency Medical Technician certification.
He is a shop foreman at Aero Industries Inc. in Harvard and a firefighter with the McHenry Township Fire Protection District.
Their wedding will be July 12, 2013.
