LITH man found dead in Boone County

A 24-year-old Lake in the Hills man was found dead Monday in his car outside of Belvidere.

Kevin R. Zent was found on Spring Center Road, a quarter-mile south of Shattuck Road, the Boone County Coroner's Office said in a news release.

An autopsy performed today, was inconclusive, the coroner's office said. Toxicology results are pending.

The death remains under investigation by the Boone County Coroner's Office and the Boone County Sheriff's Office.

No other information was released.
