CHICAGO (AP) — Three more students have joined a lawsuit alleging hazing and sexual assault within the sports program of a suburban Chicago high school.

Three members of the soccer team at Maine West High School in Des Plaines joined a complaint filed last week on behalf of a 14-year-old student who says he was attacked in September by older members of the team who tore off his underwear, grabbed his genitals and sodomized him with objects.

The lawsuit alleges abuses were "part of the soccer team's culture" and were "sanctioned by its coaches for years."
