Woman charged in connection with dumped body

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Authorities in Sangamon County have made an arrest in connection with the discovery of a dismembered body dumped along a road.

WAND-TV reports 22-year-old Juatisha McCaster of Springfield is being held in lieu of $5 million in the Sangamon County Jail.

McCaster is charged with concealment of a homicide and obstruction of justice in the death of her husband, 22-year-old Norman McCaster. His body was found Oct. 29, missing the head, both arms and both legs.

Sangamon County Sheriff Neil Williams says detectives don't believe others are linked to the death, and more charges will likely be filed against the woman.

WAND-TV reports court records show that days after her husband's body was found, Juatisha McCaster filed for divorce. It was not immediately known if she has a lawyer.
