WOODSTOCK – One of McHenry County’s top 10 fugitives was arrested Wednesday in McHenry, according to authorities.

Justin E. Dean, 21, of the 4600 block of East Wonder Lake Road, was wanted for possession of a stolen firearm, sale of a stolen firearm, unlawful possession of a handgun, and possession of a firearm with an expired firearm owner’s identification card.

Officers obtained an arrest warrant for Dean earlier this month following an investigation into a stolen firearm, according to a news release. The gun was used during an accidental shooting in Volo in late October.
