To the Editor:

What a shame that now that the election is over there are so many who will try to blame the candidates for the outcome. Truth is, both President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are decent men, with one of two problems. Obama is black and Romney is rich, but the election was not based on those issues – not really.

The critics insist that Obama is a liar, but who of us could run a country with so many government officials and not step on some toes? Could a president have been responsible for the words of the ambassador, given to her by the people who should have known? Hardly. And with a government such as Libya in such disarray, how could anyone get the facts? Get real.
