McHENRY – Announcement has been made of the engagement of Sarah Ellen Carruthers of McHenry and Thomas A. Scrace Jr. of Lockport, N.Y.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Carruthers of McHenry. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Scrace of Lockport, N.Y.
The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock and a 2010 graduate of the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Ind., with a bachelor’s degree in American studies.
