Eagle Scout thanks

To the editor:

During this time of thanksgiving, I am reflecting on my Eagle Scout project.

In July, I had my Eagle Court of Honor along with my two friends, Patrick Brady and Brian Donovon. My Eagle Scout project was to refurbish the nature center cabinets. I want to thank a lot of people for helping me with my project.

I thank Mr. Fiorina and the nature center for the project I was offered. I want to thank all of those who came to my Culver’s fundraiser, as well as Nick the manager and the Crystal Lake Culver’s staff. Thanks to the Algonquin Home Depot and the managers, Leighann and Keith Merredick, I was able to get the needed supplies with my budget.

Thank you to all of those who have helped me in rebuilding the cabinets. I want to thank Mr. Wesa, who not only was my project coach but provided the tools and the knowledge for the project to run smoothly. The Donovans have been there for me since the beginning of my scouting career. Mr. Dalton has been there faithfully serving the troop and all of the Scouts, including me. Mr. Mawdsley has been an invaluable source of knowledge for me and the troop and has helped me through the Eagle Scout process at every step.

Thank you to all of those who wrote the recommendations needed for my rank to happen, as well. And finally, I want to thank my Troop 165, friends, and family for being there for me.
