Obey Rakow speed limits
To the Editor:
Since the Rakow Road reconstruction, my travel time to McHenry has decreased 10 to 15 minutes. Coming home is no longer a nightmare.
I would like to state that although the speed limit signs state 45 mph, there are drivers doing 55 to 65 mph. To me, that’s dangerous driving, so I say to those drivers in Ellen Griswold’s words: “Clark slow down, I don’t want to be dead for Christmas!” (Christmas Vacation, 1989).
