Calendar commemorates 'Groundhog Day' anniversary

WOODSTOCK – Copy Express has announced the publication of its 2013 wall calendar commemorating the 20th anniversary of the release of the movie “Groundhog Day.”

Most of the movie was filmed in and around the Woodstock Square. Woodstock city staff, businesses and residents were cooperative and encouraging as Columbia Pictures transformed Woodstock into Punxsutawney, Pa., the “Weather Capital of the World.” Filming took place in 1992. The movie was released in 1993 and became a box-office success.

The calendars are available through the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce office on the Woodstock Square and at the printing company’s facility located in the historic Feed Mill, 301 E. Calhoun St., in downtown Woodstock. One copy is free to each customer. Additional copies are available for $5 each.
