D-158 school hosts educational event on drugs

Huntley area parents can learn about new drug trends and products from Lake in the Hills police during an educational forum Thursday, Dec. 13.

Marlowe Middle School parent teacher organization is hosting the event to try and equip parents with the newest tools and resources to help them recognize the signs of drug use. Lake in the Hills police will review current drug trends, identification and the newest synthetic drug products.

The event starts at 7 p.m. in Marlowe's gym, 9625 Haligus Road, Lake in the Hills. The presentation is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Marlowe principal's office at (847) 659-4700.
