Public’s help sought to find Marengo burglar

he McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that occurred to the Full Moon Saloon, 22418 W. Grant Highway, in unincorporated Marengo. Forced entry was made to the business and video surveillance shows a masked male entering the business. The burglary occurred about 2 a.m. Nov. 6.

MARENGO – The McHenry County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in investigating a month-old burglary and theft at a Marengo business.

Video surveillance shows a masked man inside the Full Moon Saloon, 22418 W. Grant Highway. Sheriff’s police said the subject broke into the business and took an unknown amount of money.

The burglary happened about 2 a.m. Nov. 6.

Anyone with information about the incident should call the McHenry County CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 800-762-7867, the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office at 815-338-2144, or email tipline@co.mchenry.il.us.

Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest. CrimeStoppers does not use caller ID.
