Guidry: Holiday tech gadgets make your world mobile

(Continued from Page 1)

Verizon has the Sony Smartwatch, a wristwatch that lets you check notifications from your other devices at a glance. The Moga mobile gaming system turns your smart phone into a handheld gaming console. The Jambox Smart Speaker is great for parties and patios. There's also the AR Drone 2.0, a large model helicopter controlled by your mobile device. For the kids there's the Crayola Color Studio HD for iPad.

These new tablets and smartphones may sound great, but what about learning how to use them? Both AT&T and Verizon offer customer support in store, by phone, and on the Internet. In addition, some Verizon stores offer workshops on how to use your mobile device. The sessions start with a brief overview then move on to individualized training.

No matter what kind of mobile device you choose, you'll find one that's right for you.
