BARRINGTON – Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital will host a blood drive sponsored by LifeSource from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Prairie Room at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, 450 W. Route 22.

Those interested in donating must be 17 years of age or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good physical health and may not have given blood within the past eight weeks.

To prepare for donations, donors should eat well, stay hydrated and bring an ID on the day of their blood donation. Proper identification is required to donate blood, and acceptable forms include LifeSource or military IDs, driver’s licenses or employee badges with picture and full name.
