Fire causes estimated $150K in damage to Woodstock barn

A fire caused an estimated $150,000 worth of damage to a barn in Woodstock Friday afternoon, according to Lt. Scott Nieman of the Woodstock Fire Department.

Firefighters were called to a pole barn at 10405 Aavang Road near Woodstock around noon. A MABAS box was called for extra water as there were no hydrants in the area.

The box alarm was downgraded as responding departments were not needed.
